This team of fifty-nine young men arrived in the Northwoods this evening for a week of spending time “with Jesus.” It is our prayer that their return from the Journey will prompt a similar response to what Peter and John received many years ago: “When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13).

There is much potential for God’s kingdom represented in that picture! Praying that nothing will hinder them from drawing close to the Lord.

The Lord is really doing a work in the hearts of the young men that are here. The first night with Paul Washer has had a deep impact on a lot of the men. It has been a starting point in taking back ground in their lives. Yesterday has been a pivotal point in moral purity, and seeing young men gain freedom and a heart for the Lord. This morning I saw each leader have a genuine desire for each team member to take the most out of this week, and a willingness to pour out whatever it takes to get them there. Pray that the Lord would continue the work that he has started and that he would be faithful to complete it, that the leaders would not grow weary in well doing but would finish strong the race that we are in this week. God Bless you all.

This really have been an exciting week and just a blessing to see the Lord’s hand at work in so many different ways. The safety God has given us this week has been such a blessing, and the weather allowing the men to be able to enjoy the outdoors. Continue to pray that there would not be a complacent spirit among the men, that they would strive for the high calling of Jesus Christ and run the race that is set before them. Thank you all for your prayers and support may the Lord richly bless you.
