We are rejoicing over the marvelous transformations that occurred in the lives of the fellows who were on the last Journey to the Heart. I thought the testimony of Nick was particularly encouraging and motivating!
~
Nick did not want to attend the Journey. He purposed not listen to what was shared and resist the instruction he was given. However, when he experienced the love and acceptance of the staff, he was overwhelmed and stated publicly, “How could I react to a group that gave me so much love?” During the Journey, he totally surrendered himself to the Lord, called home and asked his parents for forgiveness. He told them to throw out all of his rock music, and then he asked how he could continue serving the Lord.
On the way home, Nick witnessed to three people on the plane. He also began witnessing to acquaintances he had made on his former paper route, as well as at his new job at a grocery store. He has requested baptism and is looking forward to overseas mission work in the near future.
All of you share in the results that are taking place in every aspect of this ministry, and therefore we count on the power of your fervent prayer. Thank you being “stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour [in prayer] is not in vain in the Lord” (I Corinthians 15:58).

Praise God!
I was so happy to read this great report! Thank you for sharing this with everyone.
May God bless you Nick, as you walk this new path in the Lord, may He give you much strength for this new journey!

I myself was living a life of rebellion in the past. I claimed to love and honor my parents, but I listened to rock music behind their back, and was apathetic in the area of evangelism. But through the Journey, God got a hold of my heart, and showed me all the areas that I needed to surrender to Him, and that I was VERY lacking in the area of respect to my parents.
I also have since gained a zeal and passion for Christ and His work that I NEVER had before, and am gaining a much closer relationship with my parents.
May Jesus Christ be praised!
