The first guys Journey to the Heart of 2009 is up in the Northwoods of Michigan right now seeking the Lord! Pray that God would make Himself known to them in a powerful way as they allow Him to purify their hearts.
“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8).

God is doing an amazing work already in the hearts and lives of the guys! Secret sins are being brought to the light and the lies of the Enemy are being exposed. Please continue to pray that God would continue the work that He has begun through the remainder of our time here in the Northwoods.
Blessings,
Chad

Praise the Lord, Chad! Thank you for this good report. We got an email this evening from one father who wrote, “My son called me this evening to share with us that he ‘accepted Jesus and gave his life to him!’ … We listened to his joy and the peace in his voice as he shared this life-changing event. Words fail me as to how I can express my gratitude …” Praise the Lord! We’ll keep praying for God to be glorified through this Journey.

Praise the Lord, Elijah!
I will be praying for you to continue strong in the Lord! I was thinking about the following two verses this morning. Notice the importance that God places on having HIs Word abide in us:
“I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one” (I John 2:14).
“Continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works” (II Timothy 3:14-17).
