“Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields;
for they are white already to harvest.” John 4:35
A Challenge to Win Souls!
The only way we’ll ever succeed in soulwinning is if we actually step out in faith and start sharing the Gospel. “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14).
Our goal for this next Challenge is to motivate each one of us to get out of our comfort zones and to share the good news of God’s love with those around us! Here’s how it will work:
Phase One: Get Equipped!
Although you may have your own favorite verses you like to use when sharing the Gospel, the first part of this Challenge involves memorizing twelve specific verses, which are key in effectively presenting the salvation message. These will be were announced here at livingthejourney.com.
These verses must be memorized by Thursday, April 23rd.
Phase Two: Get a Free Soulwinners Resource Kit!
After you have successfully completed memorizing the verses, you will be mailed a package of soul winning resources (such as Ray Comfort tracks, a practical training DVD, and lots more!) that we trust will be helpful for you in sharing the Gospel with someone!
Meanwhile, keep checking back daily for the latest updates and online training!
Phase Three: Get Going!
Share the Gospel with someone during the week of May 3-9th.
Someone once said that an expert is a person who has already made every mistake possible.
Success in soulwinning is not necessarily seeing the fruit, but following the leading of the Holy Spirit to plant the seed of God’s Word in the life of another person. Remember the promise found in Isaiah 55:11 that when God’s Word goes forth, it will not return unto Him void!
Everyone who takes on the Challenge will be required to write up a short report of what the Lord taught them through this experience.
Are you Ready?
Leave a comment and join us in taking on this Challenge!

This sounds like a great challenge! My Dad’s goal has been for all of us to move more in this direction. Recently the Lord has been blessing Dad’s efforts with many very natural lead-ins in his conversations with others. For example, last week a co-worker that has worked with my Dad for twenty years stated, “As long as you are sincere and try to do good it really doesn’t matter what church you go to. Does it?” My Dad pulled out a basketball tract and proceeded to share the Gospel with him. We are praying that Mark and his wife will soon come to know the Lord as Savior. It would be great if this challenge helps my whole family share the great news of the Gospel more!

I am looking forward to this challenge!!! What are the 12 verses again?
April 5th, 2009 at 5:43 pm
It will be very useful to have these verses memorized while sharing the gospel so I won’t have to carry a Bible around with me. It shouldn’t be be too hard to memorize those 12 verses because we have a total of 36 hours for each verse! I’m looking forward to these next couple of weeks! Thanks Robert for telling me about this.
