I was encouraged over and over as I memorized each verse having a good idea of what they mean because of the counsel of godly young people writing their insights about the verses!!! Thanks SO MUCH!!!! I have been encouraged to memorize more scripture every day! Praise the Lord for His goodness!!!! It has been SO good to memorize scripture with a whole group of young people I don’t even know! I know that the 26 days I spent memorizing II Timothy 2 are some of the most rewarding days of 2009 so far. To anyone who did not complete the challenge, I would strongly encourage you to continue memorizing. Remember, God's Word will not return void. "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isaiah 55:11 I want to thank each one of you that took time to write up a blog post on the verses. On days where I didn't quite understand the verse, it was so helpful to read your insights and get a better understanding of what it meant. As a result of this challenge, I have a renewed desire to memorize God's Word and already have my next passage picked out. If there is another challenge, I would love to participate in it, too!
