Drum roll, please …
Ladies and gentleman, the following list of individuals have successfully completed The Challenge by memorizing 26 verses
in 26 days—the entire chapter of II Timothy 2! They have each demonstrated qualities of diligence, endurance, perseverance, and determination. This list of 58 young people does not include each of the Journey leaders who have also completed The Challenge.

Wow~ Congratulations to you all! That is quite the accomplishment. Don’t forget it though. It may have been encouraging to you this January, but don’t let it fade! Use this as a springboard to keep memorizing Scripture and hide God’s Word in your hearts.
God bless you all!

WOW! What a remarkable list! This was very encouraging to see. My sincere congratulations and applause to each one of you who conquered this challenge!
May the Lord richly bless you in unexpected ways for your love for Him and His Word!
And to those who may have put effort into this challenge, but did not quite meet the goal, I cheer you on! “A man who fails and tries again is not a failure; but a man who fails and gives up is a failure.” (I heard this great quote from Mr. Jim Sammons!)
Once again, a great big THANK YOU to all of you who worked behind the scenes to make this Challenge possible! You all deserve a recognition as well
The Lord will not fail to bless you for your eternal investment in the lives of many others! Robert, thanks for taking the time to post all these names and recognize each one!
My mother enjoyed listening to each of us recite II Timothy 2. She almost memorized it herself! My siblings and I even had the opportunity to recite this chapter for memory at a friend’s house and to encourage one another in memorizing God’s Word.

It’s been exciting to experience God using II Timothy 2 to change my heart in various ways, including increasing my joy and my hunger for His Word!!
God bless ya’ll!

I just want to thank everyone on the Living The Journey staff for encouraging us former Journey “veterans” in continuing to live it out at home, which is so different from Northwoods.
I thoroughly enjoyed memorizing II Timothy 2, and I hope you’ll announce another Challenge soon! May God continue to renew within us all a burning desire to continue to meditate on His Word!

Hi, Congratulations to everyone who attempted this and even more so to those who accomplished it. Please, Robert, could you correct the spelling of my daughters’ names? It is “Hills” instead of “Hill.” (Kayla and Stephanie)
Thanks so much, Mrs. Hills

It is so encouraging to hear all the good reports!
Mrs. Hills, I updated the spelling on your daughter’s names. Thank you for noticing that.

Congratulations to each one who completed the challenge! I know that the 26 days I spent memorizing II Timothy 2 are some of the most rewarding days of 2009 so far.
To anyone who did not complete the challenge, I would strongly encourage you to continue memorizing. Remember, God’s Word will not return void. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11
I want to thank each one of you that took time to write up a blog post on the verses. On days where I didn’t quite understand the verse, it was so helpful to read your insights and get a better understanding of what it meant.
As a result of this challenge, I have a renewed desire to memorize God’s Word and already have my next passage picked out. If there is another challenge, I would love to participate in it, too!
May God bless each of you with a deeper knowledge of Who He is through the memorization of His Word!

It has been SO good to memorize scripture with a whole group of young people I don’t even know! I was encouraged over and over as I memorized each verse having a good idea of what they mean because of the counsel of godly young people writing their insights about the verses!!! Thanks SO MUCH!!!!
I have been encouraged to memorize more scripture every day! Praise the Lord for His goodness!!!!

Ooops! I was just informed that I accidentally left Maxwell Clark’s name of the list. Sorry about that Max. I just added it. Congratulations on completing the challenge!

I got word today that two additional young ladies had successfully completed The Challenge but their parents had been unable to call in because of sickness in the family. Congratulations Shanna and Trina Thompson!
